TEMAS

TEMAS is strongly engaged in implementing technology and innovation oriented programs. Our main competences are to build bridges between science and economy, especially SME's, to collaborate with research institutes to realize new functions for existing products as well as the development of new innovative products. In this context the support of young entrepreneurs and start-up companies, emerging from research institutes, play a key role. TEMAS has implemented or is in process to implement several programs such as: WZMO - a project cluster to strengthen the world wide market position of the Swiss machine tool industry (Budget 10 Mio EURO); ENET - the technology transfer activities for the Swiss Federal Office of Energy with a special focus on renewable energies and "Zero  Emission Systems; Programme management of the Technology oriented Program (TOP) NANO 21 of the ETH-Board implemented by CTI, the Swiss Commission for Technology and Innovation (Budget 45 Mio EURO).

 TEMAS is a technology management organization with a team of Physicists, Biochemists, Engineers and MBA's. Our core competencies are innovation management, the management of technology and innovation oriented programs

and the review of projects and programs. Specific knowledge has been developed to interface Science and Economy (Industry). With a full range of services for internal and external project information and communication, we create for e.g. e-information data base oriented home pages and news tickers. Furthermore we are the editors of periodicals and annual reports for printed media. For personal communication between Science and Economy we organize international events, workshops, and coach innovation committee meetings.

 TEMAS will contribute to the consortium the Swiss part of experience, methodology and implementation strategies for government funded R&D programmes.  A specific focus is the implementation of new technologies in industries, especially SME's. The successful collaboration between centres of excellence and SME's is a key factor to improve the functionalities of existing and new products.

 We will contribute to the experience and competencies to the network in the following areas: Innovation system methodology; Methods to evaluate proposals and projects; Coaching of projects, review of milestones; Information of the community about new opportunities and trends in technological developments.
