The MNT ERA-Net Transnational Call 2008 is open with 17 participating funding programmes.

Scope of the call:

MNT ERA-Net is seeking proposals for commercialisable R&D projects. Consortia of at least two parties from two different participating regions / countries with the knowhow to commercialise the expected results are invited.

All MNT topics are eligible, in particular

• microsystems
• micro and nano manufacturing
• micro and nano electronics
• nanostructured materials

This Call 2008 is a concerted effort with MATERA, a network focusing on materials research. Information on the MATERA Call 2008 is available at www.matera.fi.  

It is the goal of MNT ERA-Net to make national support programmes in MNT accessible to transnational consortia. Two calls for transnational, pre-competitive research projects have already been executed in 2006 and 2007 demonstrating successful transnational cooperations between 19 national and regional funding programmes.
