a)	National Centre for Silicon Micro- and Nano- Technology	The whole project is devoted to the development of MNT. R&D with special emphasis on practical implementation of the technology. The emphasis is on the elimination of gaps in technology transfer route between basic/applied research and industrial product development.	continuous in co-incidence with MNT-ERA.NET call

Phases of R&D being funded (basic research, pre-competitive, application, serial production, market entry), funding rates (app.)

Target groups are both R&D sector and industry, in order to eliminate a gap between them on the road from research to product. Special emphasis is put on the support of SMEs.

The funding rate:

for universities, academia and research institutes is up to 100% for R&D activities

for industrial partners: according to the Commision Regulations No 364-2004

The gross aid intensity, as calculated on the basis of the eligible costs of the project, shall not exceed:

(a) 100 % for fundamental research;
(b) 60 % for industrial research;
(c) 35 % for pre-competitive development.

In some certain circumstances the funding may be increased to a maximum gross aid intensity of 75 % for industrial research and 50 % for pre-competitive development.

Major restrictions (e.g. types of institutions eligible for funding; SMEs, public/private etc., openness to transnational consortia)

Individual and joint R&D projects are accepted (as a part of international research project with no EU funding)
