Description of the process

Project Idea

Before submitting a proposal, all projected project partners must contact their respective regional/national funding agency in order to discuss the project setup and the funding conditions.

If you are interested in finding project partners, please contact your funding agency.

Submit Pre-Proposal

A pre-proposal is mandatory. It has to be submitted by the coordinator through the online application form before the deadline (12 April 2010, 17:00). It should give an overview of the objectives, the work plan, the consortium, the costs and the required funding, and the benefit that is expected for each participant from this transnational co-operation.

Pre-Proposal Assessment

A transnational team of evaluators assesses the pre-proposal and agrees on a recommendation for submitting a full proposal. Applicants may expect feedback within 3 weeks after the deadline for pre-proposals. This feedback is given to the proposed co-ordinator of the project.

Submission of Full Proposal and Funding Application

The full proposal must be submitted by the coordinator through the online application form before the deadline (5July 2010, 17:00). At the same time, individual regional/national funding applications are submitted to the involved funding organisations.

Regional/National Evaluation

The regional/national agencies evaluate the full proposals and the regional/national funding applications.

Coordination Meeting of the Agencies

A transnational team of evaluators takes all regional/national results into consideration and agrees on a common list of recommendations, containing all proposals which are recommended for funding.

Coherent Regional/National Funding Decisions

The regional/national agencies make the final funding decision.
